La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy Eau de Toilette by Guerlain, the standard bearer of French elegance

The Guerlain house has a fascinating history. Since 1828, Guerlain has sublimated the feminine elegance of intoxicating fragrances, while conveying French know-how to the four corners of the world. With its impressive longevity, Guerlain is one of the oldest French companies. However, it has not lost any of its modernity and has been able to evolve with the times. In a very contemporary and dynamic spirit, aimed at women of the new generation, Guerlain designed, in 2012, La Petite Robe Noire. Since then, this feminine essence has been the house’s bestseller. Today, La Petite Robe Noire pays tribute to its French origins. Guerlain’s iconic Eau de Toilette becomes La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy.

The flowery and fruity breath of La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy Eau de Toilette

Designed by Thierry Wasser, exclusive perfumer of Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette is a fruity and floral fragrance, which twirls in the air like a spring breath. Today, the limited edition La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy only modifies its bottle. Its fragrance, meanwhile, remains unchanged. Very light, La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy is thought of as “an invisible dress, a game between what is hidden and what is revealed”. This juice begins with a bouquet of rose, jasmine and orange blossom. Then, this delicacy is relayed by greener and dazzling heart notes of apple, cherry and blackcurrant. Little by little, the sensuality of La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy blossoms at its base, combining amber and white musk, to form a luminous and cozy halo.

The new tricolor bottle of La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy by Guerlain

Belonging to La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchyto the Guerlain family immediately jumps out at the sight of its bottle. Indeed, its shape remains identical to that of its predecessors. Moreover, its existence dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. Originally, the La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy bottle was designed by Serge Mansau, for L’Heure Bleue and Mitsouko perfumes. With this container, Guerlain therefore offers us an insight into its history. Some of its iconic elements haven’t changed at all in over a century of existence, such as its comma-shaped shoulders or its inverted heart-like hood. On the other hand, the transparency of its glass has given way to a new colored lacquering. The Little Black Dress So Frenchy Eau de Toilette is decorated with several blue, white and red stripes, to recall the French flag. In its Eau de Toilette version, red dominates, while blue takes over in its Eau de Parfum edition. By opting for such a bottle, Guerlain is making La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy “the mischievous banner of French glamor”.
